I started Raegan in swim lessons in February. One class a week for 30 minutes. The place and the teachers are awesome. There are only 4 kids per class max and always extra teachers in the pool helping out. I was so impressed after 2 weeks with Raegan that I started Baylor in an infant class. I am not a fan of having to get in the pool with him every week but he is such a water baby and loves it. Raegan is working on going underwater. She does not like putting her face in or going all the way under. She has been improving more and more every week. She does go under and puts her face in. She has mastered wall walking and climbing out. She still doesn't like to jump in without someone catching her though. She has almost mastered floating on her back by herself which is an amazing improvement. Week one she wouldn't lean her head back and let water get in her ears, she had to rest her head on the teachers shoulder but shes getting it! Another proud mommy moment!
Baylor's classes are crazy. Day one he is going under water, working on climbing out by himself, jumping in and going under water. By class 3 the teacher and I stand about 3-4 feet apart and she sends him under water and he swims under water to me. Mind blown! He will put his face in the water and working on figuring out how to blow bubbles. B's class is great because we go while R is at school and most of the time we are the only ones there. Love the private class.
We will continue swim lessons through the spring and as of now plan to take the summer off so we can enjoy the outdoor neighborhood pool! Plus Raegan will be busy with dance camp, church camp, Vacation Bible School and vacations! How is my baby old enough to go to summer camps?

Valentines Party at Preschool
Raegan's preschool class had a Valentines Party that the mom's were invited to. Dad's got to do a Halloween party and carve pumpkins. It was in the evening and we got to take Valentine cards for the entire class and make/decorate mailboxes to put them in. We decorated sugar cookies and then the class sang all the songs they have been working on. It was so cute and so much fun! I loved seeing Raegan interact with her classmates. She is such a little girl and not a baby anymore and it makes me proud and sad at the same time.

Teeth - Got tooth #7 on 2/24/13 on the bottom. He went down for his morning nap and it wasn't there and when he woke up and was eating lunch you could see it there! Crazy!
Eating -This kid can eat. My goodness. He eats his plate and finishes Raegan's and is still so skinny. He's not really a fan of veggies but loves fruit. He weaned himself off the bottle. Pretty sure that once he got the hang of sippies and the faster flow he was over the bottle and slow flow. We no longer have any bottles in the house and he drinks all his milk out of a sippy cup! That was easy! Seriously, this kid is so easy!
Milestones - Said DADA on 2/24. Also says Bubba, Baywaw (Baylor) hi, and bubye. Also signs MILK and ALL DONE! Starting to take a few steps off of furniture.
Favorite toys/activities -Mr. Owl his brown Angel Dear lovey. Bathtime.
Dislikes - Having his diaper changed. About to try the Huggies Pull on diapers.
What we love - Everything! Watching him grow has been so much fun. I love how much him and his sister love each other. She is such a little mommy and wants him to grow up so they can share a room and have bunk beds.

3 months of silence...
Here I go again, saying the same thing I say every 2-3 months. I will get better about this. But by this point we all know I probably wont. I will get caught up on my post over the next couple of days and then it will be radio silence again for a while. I don't know why but I never think to catch up on my blog at night when I am laying around watching tv, not like I have anything else to do!
So much to catch up on! Baylor is walking, talking, taking swim lessons and had his first visit to the ER! Raegan is still Raegan! She is obsessed with dance and tutu's, loves school and swimming and is little miss social butterfly. So here we go.........

Rough week for the Hahaj's...
Last Tuesday I woke up just before 6am with a lot of pain in my right breast. I felt very engorged, I tossed and turned for an hour but could't get comfortable. I got up and pumped and got my usual amount but it didn't relieve the pain. I just thought it was maybe a clogged duct. I got Raegan ready for school, dropped her off, came home and pumped again. Once again pumped my usual amount and it still didn't help the pain and I could not feel a clogged ducted but the whole under side was a little hard. If it was a clogged duct it was the biggest one I have ever had. As the day went on I started getting chills and a headache and started feeling very run down. I mentioned to Ryan I thought that maybe I had mastitis. After I picked R up from school I looked in the mirror and yep I had mastitis. I called my OB to get a script called in and of course he wasn't in so it took forever for the nurse to get it called it. I spent the afternoon in bed while Raegan destroyed the house and Baylor napped. I mean destroyed, she spilt a half gallon of milk then tried to clean it up with a whole roll of paper towels. At least she tried.
She was not listening and I felt like death. My whole body hurt, especially my back and hips. I had a 101+ fever, my head was killing me, and I was so nauseous. Ryan was going to pick up my Rx from Target on his way home and of course he got out of a meeting late and traffic was bad. I was trying to get dinner started and then started puking. I fed the kids and went back to bed until Ryan got home.
Wednesday I felt better but my back and hips still really hurt. Baylor and Raegan both had a cough for almost a week now, on and off fevers and a little runny noses. Baylor's cough was just terrible, he had a rattle in his chest and was starting to sound a little wheezy. So after ballet I took Baylor to the doctor. He had a double ear infection but thankfully his lungs sounded clear. Raegan said her left ear was popping and hurt and sure enough she had an ear infection too. That would explain why she was such a handful and not listening the day before. They both were started on amoxicillin.
Thursday Raegan was back to her sweet, well behaved self. It was such a relief that she wasn't starting in on a new phase of terrible behavior and not listening, it was just her ears.
Friday Ryan comes home from work early with the flu, and was in bed pretty much until Sunday. I made him sleep on the couch though! Thankfully he wasn't too bad and it was pretty mild, the worst of it Friday night. Both of the kids got flu shots so hopefully the dont get it and neither do I.
I had to take B back to the doctor today to get his ears rechecked. They are still infected but getting better. Hopefully we are all on the mend and over illness' for a while.
