Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: happy!
Looking forward to: DISNEY WORLD!

We had our 28 week appointment on Thursday before leaving for Disney world. I had to do the 1 hour glucose test, and the drink wasn't that bad. It was fruit punch is ice cold which was the worst part because you have to chug it and I kept getting a brain freeze. We had our 28 week ultrasound and everything looks good. Baby is still a boy which is great! He was weighing in at 2 lbs 11oz. His hands were up by his face so we could get a clear shot of his face when the tech switched it over to 3D/4D. And he was actually sleeping, which doesn't seem to happen very often. After we got back from Disney on Monday I received a call from Dr. Gates' nurse saying I FAILED the glucose test by 2 freaking points. 2 points. You need a 140 to pass and I got a 142. You've got to be kidding me. And of course I can't just redo the 1 hour test. I have to do the 3 hour test. I talked to Dr. Gates about the chance of having it because when I eat sweets, like oranges, frozen yogurt or cupcakes I feel sick afterwards. He said it doesn't necessarily mean I have GD. It could just be from my overall sickness and not feeling great. So, now I have to go on Thursday to do the 3 hour test, which consists of a huge sugary drink, after fasting and 4 blood draws over 3 hours. Booooo. And the best part is that if I puke any of it up I have to leave and go back another day. I don't do well with needles, especially on an empty stomach. Good Luck to me!

27 weeks- Hello third trimester!

How far along? 27 Weeks. I can't believe I am in 3rd tri already.

26 weeks! Holy double digits batman! 99 days!

How far along? 26 weeks. Double digits!!! I can not believe how fast this is going by.
Total weight gain: We had a MAJOR growth spirt this week. My belly is much bigger. Ryan even made the comment like 3 times yesterday about it. My scale at home says 6 total, so ummm 4 this past week. ZOMG! Better lay off the sweets.
Maternity clothes? Regular pants, maternity shirts. Had to buy bigger bra's. Hello 36 D! I hope you stick around for a long, long time!
Stretch marks? NO, and lets keep it that way. Raegan likes putting lotion on her tummy too when I put it on mine.
Sleep: Great, Unisom!
Best moment this week: Getting some more clothes for baby boy at a steal of a price! Going to the Super Bowl Village with Ryan. Oh and Raegan was amazing at soccer on Saturday. She has finally come out of her shell and did so, so good! Proud Soccer Mom!
Miss Anything? Tanning, drinking beer Saturday downtown and Sunday during the Super Bowl.
Movement: Lots, still really low.
Food cravings: I think I had my first one this week!!!!! Yesterday before the Super Bowl I text my friend and told her that I HAD to go to the store and get a cookie cake and then we would be over for the game. She is 25 weeks pregnant and had already bought one! Amazing! Ryan is working from home today so I just sent him and Raegan to Marsh to get another one. He had them put extra icing on it for me too! What a great guy!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Ryan's car. The smell of coffee.
Gender: Boy. 2 more weeks until we get another ultrasound. Hope he is still a boy!
Labor Signs: None. Lets keep it that way as I just saw a picture of a 26 week baby born, 1 lb 12 oz and 12" long.
Symptoms: leaking boobs, Sciatica pain, still get nauseous.
Belly Button in or out? I hate this question. In for now. The top looks like it will be out in no time!
Wedding rings on or off? On. Still fit but I did notice my fingers swelled up a little while walking on the treadmill this morning.
Happy or Moody most of the time: HAPPY!
Looking forward to: Getting my dreaded 28 week appointment over with. Still 2 weeks away and I am dreading it. Glucose test and getting weighed. Boooo.

Sleeping Success!

Raegan has always been a great sleeper from day 1. Mommy and Daddy are also great sleepers, me especially, because I am still taking Unisom for my morning sickness. Raegan goes to bed at 7:30pm and gets up between 8-830am, and she does not nap anymore. The problem was that she would get up in the middle of the night and come into our bed at some point, most nights we didn't know when because she wouldn't wake us up. She was quiet as a mouse. Some nights she would wake Ryan up because she needed a drink or to go potty. We knew we had to break her of this before brother comes and that we had to get her to stay in her bed all night. I NEVER dreamed it would be so easy with a little bribe!

Last Thursday, I went to the Dollar Tree store and bought her a bunch of little toys all for $1. We told her before she went to bed that she needs to stay in her bed all night and not come into mommy and daddy's bed and she will get a present. She went to bed at 7:30 but woke up at 6:45am. She called for Ryan and he went in there. She asked if she could have her present since she slept in her bed all night. Ugh. It was 6:45am. My immediate thought was that now I am going to have to get her an OK to wake clock that would let her know at 8am that it was ok to wake up. But she did sleep in her bed all night so she got her presents of a soccer ball, fairy wings, and Minnie Mouse chapstick.

Friday night she went to bed at 7pm since she woke up early and did not nap. She did get up to go potty in the middle of the night but did go back bed on her own. She slept til 830am and got her presents of new shoes (not from the dollar store but she needed new ones) and headbands. Saturday night she went to bed at 7:30pm and slept all night in her own bed and woke up around 8:30 but stayed in her bed and played until I went in and got her at 9am! She got her presents of 2 Elmo books and a Mickey Mouse chalkboard.

Sunday night was Super Bowl Sunday and we went to a friends house down the street. So Raegan got to stay up until almost 8:30pm. She woke up at 2am asking for a drink, Ryan told her she needed to lay back down and he would bring her one. This use to always fail. She would throw a fit and want to go with him. Last night she laid back down and waited for her drink. He brought it to her and then left the room. Use to always be a fail too. Now it worked and was a total success. He didn't even have to remind her that she would get presents. She went right back to sleep. At 6am she woke up, cried for me for 2 seconds and then went back to sleep until 8:30am. She got a couple new coloring books with stickers and crayons as well as a Minnie Mouse water color painting kit.

We have enough $1 gifts to get us through this week, Friday night we will tell her that her present that night is to go to Grandma Hahaj's house and playing with Ava Saturday. And then hopefully we wont have to buy her any more gifts! But as Ryan said this morning, for $7 a week its worth it!

We have struggled with the big girl bed since she moved into over the summer. Moving into the new house made it even worse. I think in the two months that we lived here she slept through the night in her own bed maybe two or three times. Hopefully this makes the transition to baby brothers arrival this spring much easier since he will be in our room for the first couple of weeks.

25 weeks

How far along? 25 Weeks
Total weight gain: 5lbs
Maternity clothes? Shirts, still in regular jeans.
Stretch marks? no

Best moment this week: They are all good. We had fun taking Raegan downtown to Superbowl Village.
Miss Anything? Tanning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Being pregnant in the winter sucks.
Movement: Lots. Still really low and breeched.
Food cravings: Love me some sweets and cupcakes. I might be craving GiGi's white midnight magic cupcakes but its not the same feeling I had towards cravings with R. I HAD to have it. Like right then and there. This time I want it but I'm ok not eating it. Maybe because GiGi's cupcakes are so not good for me so I have more control this time.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Ryan's car still does! Road in it for the first time in like 2 months over the weekend and it was miserable.
Gender: Boy. Lets hope at our 28 week ultrasound he is still a boy!
