In college when Ryan and I met, the girls and I never new how to pronounce his last name. We called him "How-High" Well once we started dating I needed to figure out how to say it correctly. Some of his teammates called him "Ha Ha" but I didn't think that was correct either. So I would call Ryan while he was at work in meetings and knew he couldn't answer his phone so I could hear him say his last name in his voicemail. See, I am a genius, told you! I finally started pronouncing it correctly... I think! Ha-Hi!
Raegan talks up a storm. She repeats everything I say. Yesterday when we were talking about keeping her socks on I told her I had on my purple socks and she says "purple socks" clear as day! So whenever I need to keep her awake in the car I try and get her to repeat what I am saying or have her sing me a song. Her favorite song is "Hot dog, hot dog!" from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! I started asking her what her last name is and then I would say "HA-HI." She started of saying "HA-HA." Close enough, works for me!
Just before Christmas I got her to finally start saying "HA-HI!" When we were in Fort Wayne with the "HA-HI's" for Christmas she said it for Grandma and Grandpa and they LOVED IT! Yesterday I got her to say it while I was recording it from my iPhone. Yay! So cute!
